I know the steps taken right to the point where the actually dressing is done on the grinder. ( Correct me if I am wrong) Say center of the particular radius dresser is 3.4 1. Take the height guage zero it on the surface table then go up 3.4 2. Say a 3/8 radius is needed, either outside ( go down 3/8) or inside (go up 3/8) the height gauge will go.
